Through the development of an Innovation Portal (IP) PLTW has created a transformative contribution to the education enterprise. The IP is a hub for thousands of pre-college and undergraduate students to house design-based project portfolios and share their original ideas with a world-wide network of students, universities, businesses, and venture capitalists. The portfolios can be graded for college credit, college admissions, and scholarships. PLTW's rigorous curricular programs, which emphasize problem-based learning and critical thinking, have dramatically changed the role formal education is playing in developing and promoting young innovators. 09.21.2011 Schools and Programs | |
