An engineering technologist develops solutions that are applications-based. At University of Central Missouri, we develop a unique kind of professional. You will be prepared to excel in meeting the range of technology needs of your customers. You will learn how to solve the customer's entire problem rather than just parts of it. From day one, you will have hands-on experience in real-world engineering projects.
Engineering technologists are flexible in a complex world. They can adapt quickly to the changing requirements of industry. They understand the specialty areas of technology that are needed to develop and maintain quality products for their customers. Degrees in these areas focus on applying engineering and technology theories to solve problems. To meet that goal, UCM offers eight labs to engage students in "hands-on" learning.
