Toyota is proud of its newest vehicle assembly plant in San Antonio. Along with its onsite suppliers, TMMTX (Toyota Texas Tundra Plant) manufactures the Tundra full-size pickup, and began building the Tacoma pickup truck in 2010. Tacoma's production move to TMMTX was announced in 2009 ago and adds 1,000 jobs. Today, over 2,800 team members are employed at TMMTX and the plant is fully positioned to ramp up Toyota's pickup truck production for the American market.
